World tree planting at the Nagykanizsa Incubator House
A World Tree was planted in the garden of the Nagykanizsa Incubator House by IMRO-DDKK Nonprofit Ltd. in collaboration with the Kaán Károly Environmental Association and the Incubator House and Innovation Centre of Nagykanizsa. In doing so, we have joined the world tree-planting programme initiated by the Hungarian Environmental Association. The planting programme takes place once in a year and year by year, an increasing number of municipalities express their intention to participate. This year the English oak was granted the title of “Tree of the year”.
As Róbert Musits, Managing Director of IMRO-DDKK Nonprofit Ltd. said “The aim of this programme is to highlight the value of trees from a cultural and natural perspective. Moreover, we intend to raise awareness on the importance of preserving and protecting trees.”
